Details Not Copying Correctly to Project Folder in Detail Explorer

Issue

You are having trouble copying details from your Standards folder to your project folder in the Detail Explorer.

For example, if you try to copy the detail over, it may not be showing up in the Detail Manager. If you "Save As" the standard detail into the project folder, it may show up in the Detail Manager but show up twice in the Detail Explorer project folder.

Cause

You likely have the Project Detail Folder set incorrectly.

Solution

From the Sheet Index in the Project Manager, you can confirm and set the location for the project details. See our Sheet Index documentation.

If you drag and drop details to a folder that is not marked as the project's detail folder, you are just copying the details, and they won't show up in the Detail Manager.

We also recommend cross-checking all the details in the project by printing a detail report.
