Plant Schedule: Planting F/X for Revit® Plugin
Quick video
Our Planting F/X for Revit Plugin allows you to create a schedule (legend) in Revit listing the plants in your plan, just as you can do in CAD using our Plant Schedule tool.
Plant Schedule Overview
To place a Plant Schedule in Revit in a plan where plants have already been placed, open our Plant Schedule tool:
Planting F/X ribbon, Plant Schedule flyout
A dynamic schedule item will be created. The schedule will auto-update with any changes you've made to the planting plan.
Because of a limitation in Revit, groundcovers will be listed in their own schedule. The general rule with our Planting F/X plugin is that if you can complete a task manually, we can automate it and link it to data. If a task isn't possible in Revit, we cannot automate it. If you have a method that allows you to include groundcovers in the schedule, we'd love it if you could let us know in a technical support ticket.
Coming soon: Revit 2023 now allows families and floors in a single schedule. We are quickly working to segment a 2023-only version to accommodate this new feature. Updates like this highlight why we need to revert older versions of Revit to Legacy.
This schedule will also be stored in the Schedules/Quantities list in your project browser.
You can drag and drop it into any sheet, as pictured below.
Customizing the Schedule Display
After you've placed a schedule, you can customize it through the typical Revit controls.
Want to edit this style default? Add the schedule to your office template, then edit the style there.
